Sophia's First Swim Meet

This is Sophia's first year on swim team. We have been wanting her try it for the past 2 summers, but she never showed any interest. And we didn't want to push her either. But this summer, she asked if she could try it out. We were thrilled she decided to give it a whirl without us mentioning it.

Sophia competed in her first swim meet on Saturday. SHE WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!

Although Kalista has more swim lessons ahead of her, we are so proud of her early summer accomplishment!

Mad Love

Yes, I realize videoing while driving is not the smartest idea. But I just had to capture Kalista grooving to Mad Love by Neon Trees. She always dances with her arms in the car, but always stops when the car is parked and I try to video. I can just hear my mom lecturing now : 0 I blame the iPhone for making it so convenient to flip the screen. : )

Kalista the Swimmer

Madeline Lost in Central Park

Sophia had her ballet recital last Saturday, Madeline Lost in Central Park. This is her second year in ballet and her 4th recital and by far her best performance yet! I am so proud of my little Balloon Seller!
