A New Bento

I really love the bento concept. It's a great way to pack a healthy, hearty lunch. It's all about the packaging, right? I have a drawer full of bento accessories, which include boxes, molds, mini forks, mini cutters, and well you get the picture. I especially like to draw or write something on the food, like a piece of cheese, with edible color markers. I saw this Hello Kitty bento box and had to buy it...for Sophia of course.

Bento Blog

This first bento is somewhat tame for a kid lunch; at least for Sophia. I'll be back posting a bento filled with toasted seaweed, kamaboko and who knows what else!

Let the Bento Begin

Although Sophia is a super and very eclectic eater, I thought I would change things up a bit. Lo and behold...The Bento. I can't wait to make her school lunches even more exciting!
